We created Up To Me Active to support your long health and movement journey - we want to be the number 1 resource that you can depend on to help reach your goals and support and guide you to strength in your mind and body.

Up To Me Active was and continues to be inspired by Elizabeth Clark, also known as ‘Queen Lizzie’.

Elizabeth Clark, Co-founder & Owner Marielle’s mum, often quoted the phrase ‘if it is to be, it’s up to me’. This quote, annoying at times, was the truth pill you always needed. No matter the circumstances, outcomes, or road bumps, your actions, choices, and mindset will ultimately help you achieve your goals.

Elizabeth’s strength impacted not only her family but the friends and community around her. This strength would always be seen and felt, especially throughout her battle with metastatic breast cancer, which ultimately claimed her life.

  • Hey mates!
    My name is Marielle and I am the Co-Owner & Founder of UTMA.

    I have been in the health and fitness industry for over 8 years - first working as a personal trainer, moving into the health & supplement business, then furthering my education in Nutrition, to now a business owner who LOVES inspiring & supporting women to lead a healthier and stronger lifestyle.

    One of my core reasons why I created UTMA, was to provide a powerful resource that could help reach many Vs a few. I want to show my community and reach more women, that strength training can change more than just your physique, cardio is NOT the answer to your ‘dream body’ and that ultimately you have to choose YOU in order to reach YOUR goals.

    My name is Amanda and I am Co-Owner & Half Founder of UTMA.

    Health and fitness changed my life, and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been around it for over 10 years - from coaching to owning a gym to studying sports science post-grad. Fitness reshaped my life for the better both physically and mentally.

    When I first started my fitness journey, I just did not know where to start so I was spending 2 hours in the gym doing cardio for 1 and lifting for another. Fast forward 10 years I have cut that time in half and surpassed what I ever thought was possible both in my physique and mindset. It saddens my heart to still see these mistakes made by women who lack the knowledge I once lacked myself. I hope to break that cycle.

    UTMA exists to help that younger Amanda who had no clue what she was doing or needed to do to reach her fitness goals. I want to help women reclaim their lives through strength training and allow them to live the life they want and DESERVE.

    You can cancel your subscription anytime via your UTMA app.

    UTMA is NOT a contract service, it is a month-to-month service.

    UTMA offers 3 different training categories, which includes,

    Minimal equipment: Dumbbell, kettle bell, bodyweight & bands.

  • UTMA offers workouts & programming based on strength training.

    We do offer conditioning to help support your health (cardiovascular system) and weight training. Yes, you read correctly, conditioning/ cardio can help increase muscular endurance which will help with your training intensity and help you recover better between working sets.

  • If you have a question about the app, workout, program, or your account we can help you!
